Jewel’s Adelante – Grand Prix Horse (Swedish Warmblood)

Eliane Cordia van Reesema brought Adelante to the United States at the end of 2011. After working with him for only four months, he scored an impressive 69% during the Wellington, Florida 2012 dressage season.

Adelante is bred by Hans-Åke Månsson out of a very famous dam line, which also produced the approved stallion Telescop and Tailwind,  2002 Swedish Breeders Trophy winner in dressage for 6-year olds. The liver chestnut Adelante has been a winner since being born. He was the Foal of the Year in Sweden in 2000.

As a 5/6-year-old Adelante moved up, making it to the final fifteen in the Scandinavian Open Youngsters classes in Falsterbo with Pernilla André Hokfeldt in the saddle. Carolina Westerlund won the Finnish Junior Championship in 2007 with him, a great achievement for a 7-year old horse and a junior rider.
